Yeah, I realize I haven't updated this last week, like I usually do... these past few weeks haven't been so super (the most impersonal -- meaning, the only thing I'm really willing to share here -- being that mere hours before Halloween, my brother broke his leg and a few days later needed to go into surgery, which is just splendid. That's life, I suppose. :/), so I just didn't quite know what to write, but I'm back and with the promise that I might just update this thing more often. *hears one huge, collective groan*
No, but anyways, it's just been *great*, in the most sarcastic way possible, of course. And you know what, I don't like birthdays, and this is starting to get more and more obvious as each one passes by. Is that a sign that you're growing up, or something, because right now, I can't even remember when I actually looked forward to these things, *sighs* but anyhow....
Okay, all bitterness is aside now and all is done and over with. Yay! There was a Russian film festival going on this past weekend, which I really wanted to go to, since I just want to go to the movies so badly... but no, I check the website Thursday evening and click on the one promising movie (the brand new Anna Karenina movie, which no, I didn't know it existed, but still, I want, HAVE TO see it!! *_____*), only to find the one screening was at 7:00pm. On Thursday. Wtf, whyyyyyyyyy? It was a sad, sad moment for me, and so that was the end of that plan. ;__;
And as an end note, a few of you may have noticed that my rotation hasn't been updated recently, and that's pretty much because I finally, unceremoniously came to the decision a few weeks ago that it's going on indefinite hiatus, pretty much entirely because I want it to. The request to remove a link scared me into realizing that I don't want anything forcefully deleted or anything, so I'm giving it a (much needed, desired) rest. Erm, yeah, the links will remain until they, if, they expire, but I might change the font colour to black, so it's hidden and only those who know of their existence will be able to access them, but I don't know yet... right now, I'm not in the mood to put so much effort into it. :P
And omg, can it be? Not a single real 'smiley' here... that has to be remedied asap. ^__^v |

I am not feeling like updating there that blog before I have gotten myself out of the rut I am having about writing, so I am picspamming here instead.
Three completely unrelated ones:
This is what I do when I get frustrated at taking boring photos for school assignments. (I was shooting on a bridge above a road today for my boring "light in photos" assignment and some passing guys thought I was from the police, lol.)

With that sa... posted, I am trying to get more active on deviantart again. I've been on the site since 2002, but I've never really been active (my current accounts stats say I upload a new deviation once every 24,5 days, lol) but now I am trying to, hurhur. Anyway, point being, show me AWESOME deviants (yeah, even if they are you) because I need new people to watch and wading through endless amounts of general dA crap to get to the good ones is annoying.
I should get my ass to bed. I am seriously getting old, I need to sleep for at least 7 hours (as opposed to the "usual" 4-5) to not feel like a zombie. I am already afraid of thursday when I have to actually wake up EARLY early again, but oh well.
Not feeling like writing anything that makes sense, so I am gonna leave you with this delightful little love song from House of the Dead: Overkill (The Wiifags of flist need to go get that game if they haven't already) instead. I have it as my ringtone nowadays, lol.

Finished my first drawing idea this weekend, yay. Other than that I've been so lazy and did absolutely nothing for the past week. I have quite a lot of university work but prefer to refresh Facebook all day instead.
I had to start on this month's project today however - PACKAGING. We have to redesign a fail food packaging and I chose canned fruit (SRSLY). I wanted dairy products but it turned out there were too many. Either way, have you ever noticed how unappealing can packaging is? I know I tend to pay more attention to these things than the average person, but in any case it always slightly turns me off eating and that is never a a good sign for the product.
It is far FAR more difficult to design this than I expected. I was looking forward to the assignment but now I'd rather do something else :O The previous assignment, a poster expressing the contrast of power vs poverty, was considerably easier to do as it had more to do with the story than graphics - with packaging you have to find a universal appeal by putting together graphic elements with minimal effort and highest effect.
UGH I don't even know how to go about it. I feel like putting happy cheeky fruits on everything, but I'm afraid it will be too plain and childish:
ALSO I transferred from typography to photography, I feel rather relieved. I liked typo classes, the professor was actually interested in teaching us something, but the project this semester was just so NOT me. I secretly feel bad, I hope he doesn't think I don't like him or something :X Or that I'm indecisive. |

Yes, this day has a light pink and baby blue colour for me.
No, the sky wasn't blue at all (and pink neither XD), I didn't wear anything pink or baby blue. I just bought four new things in these colours. I'm getting more and more OTT sweet-childish whatever but I don't care. I'd rather die than turn in a person wearing blue jeans (bell-bottoms DX) and a T-shirt (from a skate shop DX). Nothing against people who wear this but sportswear sounds a little bit disgusting for a person who HATES almost every sport and was never a "fit" person anyway. XD

What's more important (so I write it in the end, haha) I spent a great time with Dana (who I had a meet-up with) and KK (who sold me a cute choker and headbow - IN LIGHT PINK AND BABY BLUE XD) and joined us which was nice. ^^ I'm so glad for the talk we had because now I'm in a really good mood. :3
Today I'm not going to write a LOOONG list of what I have to do but I'll just GO AND DO IT!
